There are four different trim levels available for the 2022 Nissan Leaf, and the trim level you choose will determine what features you get standard on the interior. As standard on most trim levels, you will have Bio cloth seat upholstery, which upgrades to leather-appointed seats on the top trim. The interior features for comfort include heated front and rear seats, power-adjustable driver's seat, heated leather steering wheel, and automatic temperature control.  The gauge cluster for the Leaf includes a 7-inch digital readout display that is reconfigurable. Plenty of interior space is available throughout for passengers, and you can fit plenty of cargo inside. When you fold down the rear seats, you can get about 20 suitcases inside.

The Leaf's exterior is very compact, with plenty of lines and curves where they're needed. All standard exterior features are aerodynamic LED headlights, fog lights, heated and powered exterior mirrors, and UV-reducing solar glass. Other exterior highlights are a rear spoiler, aerodynamic underbody cover, rear diffuser, a one-touch rear hatch release, and a charge port with light and lock. The Nissan Leaf has the option of being plugged into a 120-volt outlet, or you can select a 240-volt outlet. When you opt for the higher voltage, you can completely recharge a Leaf in about seven hours. The battery that's included as standard is a 40 kWh variety.

2022 Nissan Leaf Trim Levels

The base trim level for the 2022 Leaf is the SV, followed by the S Plus, SV Plus, and SL Plus. The S Plus provides you with the most bang for your buck thanks to a higher driving range, more power under the hood, and an excellent array of safety features. This technology includes high beam assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, blind-spot warning, automatic rear braking, and rear cross-traffic alert.
