The Nissan Leaf has the option of being plugged into a 120-volt outlet, or you can select a 240-volt outlet. When you opt for the higher voltage, you can completely recharge a Leaf in about seven hours. The battery that's included as standard is a 40 kWh variety.

    The base trim level for the 2022 Leaf is the SV, followed by the S Plus, SV Plus, and SL Plus. The S Plus provides you with the most bang for your buck thanks to a higher driving range, more power under the hood, and an excellent array of safety features. You also get an 8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Automatic climate control, a push-button start, and keyless entry are all included as standard features.

    Safety features like active lane control, blind-spot monitors, and automatic emergency forward and rear braking are standard in all the Leaf trims for 2021. An optional ProPilot Assist System delivers features like adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, enhancing driver experience. However, the addition of the Nissan Safety Shield is standard for the 2021 Nissan Leaf. This technology includes high beam assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, blind-spot warning, automatic rear braking, and rear cross-traffic alert.
